History:

P113. Entry # 426 in book "Portraits in Tennessee Before 1866." The harp-lute was invented in 1798 by Edward Light.

Notes: Father, Johann Georg Christoph Schetky, was a composer and cellist of Hungarian descent. Brother, John Christian Schetky, was painter. She was painter & regular exhibitor at the Pennsylvania Academy (1818-26) & at the Athenaeum.
