History:	This miniature portrait is an upper torso view done in watercolor on a piece of white porcelain. The porcelain piece is covered with glass and set into an ornate frame covered n brown velvet and has raised floral and leaf-patterned mahogany wood decorations and it has an oval opening for the miniature. Portrait handed down through the Sevier family and was acquired by the TN Historical Society after 1939.
