History:	The subject of this portrait is an older woman in a dark dress. She is wearing a white bonnet with lace framing her face, a large bow at the center top and it is tied in a bow under her chin. The bonnet covers her hair and only a small section of her hair is visible on her forehead. She is wearing a white lace collar / scarf at her neck that covers the top of her dress to her shoulders in at least 2 layers. She is seated in a red chair with wooden arms and is holding a book in her right hand.
