History:

This is a head and shoulders portrait of an elderly gentleman with gray hair. He is wearing a white shirt, black bow tie and black suit coat. The artist's signature is in black above the subject's left shoulder. The portrait was purchased in Knoxville. The paintings were created at the request of the subject's daughter Mrs. Charles A. Notes: Mr. Lysander Warren was married and had at least one daughter. No other information is known about the subject.
