| History of Work: | During the life art class at Watkins Institute headed by Edwin Boyd Johnson I sketched a profile of Dr. Byrd Bowie as she was drawing the model on 4/20/1947 |
| Notes: | Dr. Byrd Bowie was one of three sisters who were all medical doctors. They were Drs. Anna Bowie, Evangeline Bowie, and Byrd Bowie. The three of them donated the land for Bowie Nature Park in Fairview, Tennessee.
