Description: Frontal half-length portrait of an older man with blue eyes and gray hair combed back. The man is wearing a white shirt and a black coat with black neck tie. The man's hands are folded over a wooden rod in front of him. Plain dark background.

Notes:Sitter resided in Williamson County, TN. One of three copies of the same portrait, others in Knoxville and California.

Provenance: Given by a descendant of the sitter. Bequest of Madge Coltart.
