| Description: | Subject is seated with her right arm resting on an open book on the table to her right and her left arm resting on her lap. She is wearing a black cape over a gray lace blouse, a black skirt, and the collar and sleeves of the blouse are visible. She is wearing a brooch and earrings, and her black hair is parted in the middle and pulled back over the tops of her ears. She is looking directly at the viewer. A container of fruit is on the floor to her right; a toble behind her holds a vase of flowers; and the red drape behind her is pulled back to reveal either a landscape or landscape wallpaper. |
