| Description: | Three-quarter length portrait done nearly entirely in tones of grey, including the background. The subject is seated facing three-quarter right, with his right hand on his lap and his left arm resting on the chair arm and his hand grasping the material (also grey with a sheen) that is draped over the chair. He wears a watch on his left wrist, a grey suit with vest, a pocket handkerchief in white, a white shirt, and a tie with grey and red pattern. His short brown hair is parted on his right and he is looking over his left shoulder and away from the viewer. |
