| Description: | Oval
bust-length slightly three-quarters right profile of a young woman in a
dark blue dress. Beneath her thin white collar she wears a brooch at her
throat. Her straight dark brown hair is parted in the middle and pulled
up and back. A matching blue ribbon adorns the back of her hairdo.
An earring is prominent in her right ear, and the background up to eye level
is also blue. The elaborate gold frame has a leaf motif. "J.
A. Frazer Toronto 1871" is visible beneaath the sitters left shoulder. |
