| Description: | Young boy kneeling by bedside saying prayers. He faces to the viewer's right and his hands are together in prayer. He wears a simple white sleeping shirt. His eyes are bright blue and his hair is brown. |
| History of Work: | Portrait done in Hermitage area of Davidson County, Tennesse by a soldier in the Civil War. He thought the subject was such a pretty little boy.
