Notes:11th pastor 1967-2000. Haden came to succeed Dr. Fowle in 1967. His plain talk style of presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ as though arguing a case before a jury attracted large numbers to be added to the congregation. He spoke to the heart of men and women via weekly radio worship broadcasts and via television and radio ministry Changed Lives which he founded.

"Let's talk about it" introduced his sermon topic in which he addressed a pertinent question to the congregation. His use of scripture and his keen sense of world events and pressures in daily living provided effective messages for salvation. Rather than presenting a sermon, a conversation ensued to present the gospel.
