| Description: | The image is of two young girls holding hands. Their similar clothing, shoes, and appearance suggests they are sisters as indicated by the owner. The older child is holding a doll in her left arm, and the young child is holding a somewhat disturbed cat in her right arm. The background is a naturalistic outdoor scene. |
| History: | According to the owner the subjects are likely buried in the Nashville City Cemetery and this was probably a posthumous portrait.. |
| Notes: | Restored ca. 1960 by Sandor Bodo of Nashville. The general condition of the portrait is good, but there are slight survace abrasions and surface cracking.
