Description:Bust of a solder facing right with left shoulder and collar of uniform showing. His face is turned toward and he looks directly at the viewer. A helmet covers his head; he has a small dark mustache and heavy dark eyebrows. His complexion is tanned and the background appears to be a desert landscape with orange-gold sky.
History of Work:Gift of Sam Knaffl Jr. in Memory of Mrs. Edith R. Lutz. Signed and dated upper left of canvas.
