Description: A grey-haired Jackson is facing three-quarter right and looking that direction. He is wearing his military coat with gold banded collar and gold left epaulette visible. A red cloak covers his right shoulder and two rows of brass buttons line the front of his coat. A white collar shows above the gold of his uniform collar.
History of Work:In November of 1941, Belle Meade Country Club bought three paintings from Hankins, Cornelius. The framed oil paintings were Robert E. Lee and Andrew and Rachel Jackson.
