| History: | Painted Philadelphia, PA Papers attached to the back (all appearing to be original) say: "Rev John Waller James" and "Painted by Bridport / Chestnut near 4th St / Oct.1837" and "Copy / Painted by Bridport / Chestnut near 4th / Oct 1837 / price 20$" and "Miniature of Rev John Waller James/Assistant Minister______1832-36/Rector from July 21, 1836 to Aug 14th when/he died at Huntingdon Pa, where a church was/built in his memory, maily by member of this congregation/Presented by Miss Frances C. Wayne
