Description:Three-quarter view of subject standing behind leather-covered chair. A red book is resting on the chair back, and the subject is holding it with both hands. On his left hand he has a ring on the ring finger and, although his body is facing slightly left, his glasses-framed eyes are looking at the viewer. His graying hair is parted on his left, and there is an American flag behind his left shoulder, and a white shirt and blue tie are visible at the neck of his robe.
