Description:Young man seated facing three-quarter right with head turned toward and eyes fixed on the viewer. He is wearing a black topcoat over a brown vest, and his white, high-collared shirt has a loose black tie at the neck. His dark hair is parted on his left and appears full and short at the sides over his ears. There is a red drape to his right that is drawn up to reveal a painting of an outdoor scene.
