| Description: | Waist-length three-quarter right profile of a man in a black suit and tie and white shirt. His dark straight hair is parted to the left of his left eye. A light running stain approximatley a foot long grazes his left cheek. |

| Notes: | Subject was born 4/30/1796 in Hawkins County, TN and died 8/18/1856. Sitter was the son of Dr.Francis and Mary May.
