| Description: | Frame is original gold plated on copper with fully glassed back enclosing a strand of brown hair over silk. It has a very unusual pasteboard case with embossed and applied decoration. On the case is written in contemporary ink "Mrs McAwly / Temora"
Young woman with light brown curls pasted to her forhead and piled atop her head. She is wearing a simple white v-neck collarless dress, pinned at the nadir of the v-line. Her eyes are large and blue. |
