Description:Portrait of a man from the chest up. White shirt and tie with a black buttoned jacket.
History of Work:Painted by Washington Cooper after the original by Ralph E. W. Earl. This was originally painted for the Hardings of Belle Meade Plantation until sold in 1904.
Notes:Randal McGavock (1768-1843), mayor of Nashville from 1824-1825.
