Description:Three-quarter view of subject seated in a wood-trimmed red upholstered armchair with torso facing slightly left. His arms are resting on the chair arms and his hands lightly grasp the end of the arms. He appears to have his right leg crossed over his left, and his robe is open at the neck to reveal a white shirt and red tie. His gray hair is parted on his left, and, although his head is also turned slightly left, he is looking at the viewer through rimless glasses.
