| Description: | Head and shoulders of Rev. Nicol whose hair is gray/white down to ear lobe and smooth across top of his head. Brown eyes - Unusual set of mouth with top lip dipping. He is wearing a dark grey coat with collar open showing same colored tunic. White shirt barely shows above the tunic. His nose is rather prominent and has a slight curve - ruddy cheeks. |
| History of Work: | Sir Henry Raeburn was known as the painter of British Royalty. He also painted the well-known "Boy with a Rabbit." He was Scottish and considered frank and honest. He was knighted by King George IV. |
