| Notes: | Mary Frances Battle, born May 30, 1896, was the daughter of Alfred Blackman Battle and his first wife Fannie Scott Miller. She was the half-sister of Anne Elizabeth Battle. the wife of Henry Rutledge Perry, and the great-niece of Mary Frances "Fannie" Battle. She graduated from Vanderbilt University and taught history in Mississippi and Louisiana.
