History of Work:Gift to the university from James H. Quillen.
Notes:In 1963 “Jimmy” Quillen became Tennessee's representative for the First Congressional District. When he retired in 1997, Quillen held the record as the longest continuously serving member of Congress in Tennessee history. He donated a large collection of his papers and memorabilia to East Tennessee State University.
