| Notes: | The young boy as a man was Col. Henry A. Ramsay, chief engineer on the "Merrimac" in the Civil War duel with the "Monitor." He was also with Adm. Perry when "the gates of Japan" were opened. Great-grandfather and great-aunt of the owner.
