Her right arm is resting on the arm of the chair and clasping the end while her left hand losely holds her glasses and rests on her crossed right leg. She is wearing a blue jacket over a blue and black dress, pearl earrings and necklace, a ring on her left hand, and her blond hair is parted slightly to her left. Her blue eyes are looking directly at the viewer and she has a half-smile. Her robe is on a hanger behind the chair; a gold-framed painting is visible behind that; and a sculpture of "Justice" is on a table to her left.
