| Description: | Knee-length seated three-quarters right profile of a woman in a formal white dress with chiffon overlays. Off-the-shoulder, it is adorned at the low-cut neckline with a dark ribbon. She also holds ribbons in her hands gathered in her lap. The overall image has a pink cast, and the sofa drape is pink. The upper background is dark. "Lizette" is written on the reverse. |
| History: | This image is of the artist's wife. He moved to a farm near Marietta, GA for his health, and died ca. 1930-40. The owner's sister, Dudley, Hewitt, studied with Naegele for five or more years. She later married John W. Fulton. |
