| Notes: | In 1951 Lane College purchased Old Jackson Elementary School and renovated it for use as a Science building named in honor of I. B. Tigrett, a trustee. On October 20, 1953 the building was formally dedicated. Tigrett served as President of Gulf, Mobile, and Ohio (GM&O) Railroad for over 45 years. |
