| Description: | Frame is chased gilt copper. Owner has original red leatherette case. There is a plait of blonde hair in the back of the case.
Oval of a young man with a slender face, reddish-blond curly hair, large blue eyes. Wearing a dark blue-grey unbuttoned coat with three brass buttons visible. White vest and shirt. Mottled blue and pink background. |
| History: | Probably painted in the New York or Philadelphia areas. Good example of Inman's stong work with a good subject. |
