| Description: | Full-length of a young girl as a ballerina. With long golden brown curls, she is dressed in a park and white knee-length full-skirted dress. In pink ballet slippers, she gestures toward the tamborine with a pink ribbon lying on the floor. |
| History of Work: | History of Work Artist was twelve years old when she painted the subject at age five. The artist married Robert Henry Pickering and lived from ca. 1887-1982. Picture of artist and subject as mature women on the reverse. |
| Notes: | The subject lived from 1893-1985 and was the daughter of Charles Percy Warfield and Mary Rice, both of Clarksville.
