Description:Waist-length of a thin, older man with white hair formed in a widow's peak. His white shirt collar is barely visible beneath his high-collared black coat.
History:Originally attributed to Washington Cooper, but now believed to be the work of a Middle Tennessee portrait painter whose work has been documented, but who has yet to be identified.

Restored by Cumberland Art Conservation Center in 2004.
